WIP: Orc mob progress

Slowly my mob of Ocs boryz are coming along, not much painting was done last week and when in action it went really slow...

Some progress was made however, have a look on whats happened...

All clothing has been completed, all the skin has been basecoated and shaded. One problem i have found when mass painiting (can´t say "speed" as making progress is dead slow), is that I tend to focus to much on completing a section or a colour before moving on. For example, there is nothing stopping me from basecoting armour, weapon and bases. As long as it does not interfer or obstructs other work.

Doing that before the black clothing is complete is a waste as all the dry-brushing tends to mess things up, as an exmaple. However, basecoating armour and weapons at the same time as highliting the skin is not a problem.

On a good note, the finished highlighted orc skin gets better and better, below the finished skin comes out really dynamix and good looking, hopefulyl I can keep the up the high standard. It does look good but i have not decided yet wheter it is to bright.

The Orc skin is compelted using five layers , starting out with a basecoat of Waaagh! flesh.
Shading is done using Nuln Oil, dilluted with Lahmian Medium.

In the package there is a Standard bearer as well (it does come with a musician as well but that one is already completed). For the standard itself i will practice smooth layering, it will be an interesting challenge.

Stay tuned for further progress, I will make a push to have this completed as soon as possible. Orcs are fun and cool miniatures. But painting anythign in mass for an extended period of time gets boring and demotivating.
