So far three miniatures has been completely finished, I am satisfied with the result and the reason being is larger attention to detail and work as hard as ever on being patient. Some have also been cut "from the roster" as my own skills failed me as well as impatience showing its ugly face.
In addition there has been significant improvement on the field of photography and more to come, keep reading to find out more...

Showcase: Finished Orc Boy
The Comebacks first finished Orc, I'm really satisfied with how the skin (especially the face) and the black pants turned out.
Enjoy!

WIP: Space wolves cyclone Terminator
Space solved were the main army I lined up with in Warhammer 40K games back in the day. I had an entire army assembled and primed but the performance anxiety and fear of not doing my models justice of course left more than 80% unpainted.
As i have 6-7 models going at the same time to have variation with the painting I dug out one of the coolest models around: A Wolf guard terminator armed with a Cyclone missile launcher.
The progress so far can be seen below:

WIP: Ork Boy
As i mentioned in my first post i have a weak spot for Orc´s and Goblins, in the goodie bag that was the u-haul box, one of the favorites is a complete box of multi part Orc boyz regiment. As with the Khorne Berzerkers a couple of these were both assembled and primed.
I finished the skin and clothing highlighting yesterday so here are a couple of pictures from the "Work in progress"

Status update: Where to begin?
Well not having painted for a decade and a half poses a question to you: At what level is my skill?
After going through the models I had painted in my teens I realized that my skills were not half as good as the fifteen year old version of me thought :-)
I never watered down paint, never spent time on analyzing the difference between blending and dry brushing or having patience with the miniatures.
Hence my new take is with humility, i will start from scratch and really do whats nessecary to get good... Practice, practice, practice...

Back in business!
After a hiatus for almost fifteen years, I have started the hobby of panting citadel miniatures again. Whilst cleaning out our cellar storage three weeks ago, I came across an unmarked box. To my exitement it was filled a large number of fantasy and future, painted and unpainted miniatures from Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000.
I actually thought that my parents had thrown all of it away when selling their house a couple of years ago, but they had left the box for me to pickup and I probably never bothered looking inside it.
Having looked for a hobby for a long time to get my mind off work, this finding could not have come at a better time! A run through of the box and a quick visit to the closest GW store and I'm back in action.
Join me on the adventure to see how far I can go in becoming a great painter as well as enjoying completing the paint job on the myriad of miniatures available out there!
