Status update: Preparing for war!

After being back in the hobby for a couple of months I fell that there is somehting missing.

The actual gaming! :-)

Thats why I have decided to put together a small 750 point Orcs & Goblins (OnG) army...

WIP: Space Wolves biker

To have something to take my mind of green skin whilst trying to finish the orc mob, I decided to try out two different ways to paint Space Marine armour.

Since I am a collector of Space Wolves, its their armour to be specific.

One of the miniatures in the my test is a attack biker and I figured I would show off the progress so far...

Slowly my mob of Ocs boryz are coming along, not much painting was done last week and when in action it went really slow...

Some progress was made however, have a look on whats happened...

Tutorial: Highlighting black, quick & effective

Welcome to my first try at writing a tutorial, this specific one on how to achieve a good looking highlight of black (well at least in my opinion ;-) when painting tabletop standard. It is especially effective when speed painting, like in my case an mob of Orcs with worn down black leather clothes...

Status Update: A lot going on

Long time since the last update.... good and bad news.

Bad news: No blog updates
Good news: A lot of painting and modeling has been going on

Nothing finished so far but still set on getting that orc mob finished, also to keep my own skin and blood from turning green in the process i have thrown a couple of other things into the mix.....

Easter and all, family dinners and other social activities aside I still managed to complete the next set of Orcs for the regiment that is currently in progress.
